John Sage has spent 22 years personally navigating the world in a manual wheelchair, and 13 years building the most recognized accessible travel brand in the industry. He founded three accessible travel companies, authored the WTTC Inclusive and Accessible Travel Guidelines, and is one of the rare individuals in the travel sector to hold IAAP's Certified Accessibility Professional designation.

He is a two-time Travel Weekly Tour Operator of the Year winner (2019 & 2025), the 2025 Travel Unity Inclusion Champion of the Year, and the 2026 Women Leading Tourism Award honoree.
